Mewtwo is extremely hostile and can't stand being in a Pokeball. Years of genetic experiments resulted in the creation of this never-before-seen violent Pokemon. A scientist created this Pokemon after years of horrific genesplicing and DNA engineering experiments. It usually remains motionless to conserve energy, so that it may unleash its full power in battle.

The Story of Mewtwo
As the villains look about the bio-engineered laboratory, they come across
a recording from the original Pokemon research team. It relates how, years
ago, they discovered a fossil of the Ancient Pokemon, Mew, and genetically
recreated it. Then after many tries, they were able to clone a super-Pokemon
from Mew's DNA-Mewtwo. But the creature's anger was out of control, and it
destroyed the entire lab... and the tape ends.

Rebellion
After weeks of training, Mewtwo is finally aware of its true power, and The
Boss, Giovanni, reveals Mewtwo's ultimate purpose-to serve and fight for Team
Rocket, "This cannot be my destiny, I was not born a Pokemon, "cries the clone.
"I was created. My creators have used and betrayed me-so I stand alone!"
Mewtwo returns to New Island after the destruction of Team Rocket's hidden
base, and the reign of Mewtwo begins!
